These terms apply to your use of this website and to electrical services provided by LOJ Electrical Inc. ("LOJ Electrical", "we", "us"). By using this website or booking our services, you agree to these terms.

Quotes and estimates

Quotes are based on the information available at the time and on a visual assessment where possible. Conditions that could not reasonably be seen or known in advance, such as concealed wiring problems, code deficiencies in existing work, or changes you request, may affect the final price. We will discuss any change in scope with you before carrying out additional work.

Scheduling and access

We will make every reasonable effort to arrive and complete work as scheduled. Weather, supply availability, inspection schedules and utility coordination can affect timing. You agree to provide safe, clear access to the work area, electrical panel and any areas we need to reach.

Permits and inspections

Where electrical work requires a permit, we will obtain the permit and arrange inspection as part of the job unless agreed otherwise in writing. Work must meet the requirements of the Canadian Electrical Code and applicable Alberta regulations. If an inspector requires corrections to our work, we will correct it at no additional charge.

Payment

Payment terms will be set out in your quote or invoice. Unless stated otherwise, payment is due on completion of the work. We may require a deposit for larger projects or special-order materials. Amounts not paid when due may be subject to interest as permitted by law.

Cancellations and rescheduling

Please give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Special-order materials purchased for your job and work already completed may be charged.

Workmanship and materials

We stand behind our workmanship. If you have a concern about work we completed, contact us and we will make it right. Manufacturer warranties apply to equipment and materials we supply. Our workmanship commitment does not cover damage caused by misuse, alterations by others, acts of nature or equipment supplied by others.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, LOJ Electrical is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount paid for the services giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot be limited under Alberta law.

Website use

Information on this website is general in nature and is not a substitute for an on-site assessment by a qualified electrician. Do not attempt electrical work you are not qualified to perform. Website content, photos and branding belong to LOJ Electrical and may not be reused without permission.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
