EV Chargers done properly
Level 2 chargers run on 240 volts and add range many times faster than a standard wall outlet. Most home units need a dedicated circuit, commonly 40 to 60 amps, which is a significant load on a typical house panel.
Before we install anything, we run a load calculation on your home. If there's room, we install the charger on a dedicated circuit. If there isn't, an EV load management system can share capacity with the rest of the house, which can save you the cost of a full panel upgrade.
