Basement Suites done properly
Finishing a basement, whether it's a family room or a full legal secondary suite, means new circuits for lighting, receptacles, a kitchen, a bathroom and often laundry. It usually means work at the panel too, and sometimes a sub panel dedicated to the suite.
Legal suites come with extra requirements, including interconnected smoke and carbon monoxide alarms and specific circuit protection. We know what inspectors look for and wire it right while the walls are open, which is the cheapest time to get it right.
Plan the electrical early
- Bring us in before framing is finished, not after drywall
